Rainy and pouring. Rain, more rain, and even more...R.A.I.N. That's what it did today. I am thankful for the rain. We need it badly here in North Georgia. We don't let the weather get us down...no my friends...we just go with the flow. I was so glad that we didn't have any appointments that called us to leave the house in this gloomy, Eeyore-ish weather. We stayed inside and got our school work done. Finished the flooring in the school room. Played many games both board and Xbox360-ish. For lunch we had oriental noodles...that's a fancy name for Top Ramen with Sesame Oil and Soy Sauce.
( Jensen showing us how to catch the noodles! )
While we were chowing down on these very delish noodles we watched an episode of our current tv series "Road to Avonlea". Such a delightful show. We just started season 2. It sparks many discussions that lead down great study paths. We have answered questions ranging from who was President of the U.S.A. during the time portrayed in the movie to what were some major discoveries (either scientific or historical) that happened during the time period.
(The noodles are caught by the pro...cutie patootie!)
Tim got home and took the kids to their respective basketball practices. Max and Johnston at one location and Becca at a different location. They have come really far in their basketball skills this season. They all have really enjoyed playing. I'm so proud of all their hard work.
(Crazy noodle head!)
Looking forward to another full day at home with my crew tomorrow. Rain, rain, go away come again another day so we can stay inside and snuggle all day!
