Park days!

Last week we went to counseling, then did our coupon shopping at Krogers and to finish our very full day off….we had a picnic at the park.  It was a lot of fun.  The kids were ready to get out and just run.  It’s amazing how much energy kids have and if they don’t have an outlet they will go crazy.  It doesn’t matter where the crazy happen, but crazy does happen!  LOL!  The day was perfect as well.  A little cold in the shade, but the whole playground was in the sun so we were good to go!
Mendell enjoyed the slides!  I couldn’t believe how big/grown up she looks in this picture.  Her hair has grown out so much!
Such a cutie!
Some kiddos enjoyed the swings!
While the others held down the mountain!
Fun was had by all and all the built up energy was released.  We were able to return home and got a little school work accomplished!  We love this park.  It has two different size play sets, a swingset and a merry-go-round!  The kids especially love the merry-go-round!  I love that my kids will have so many experiences to bring to memory when they are grown.

Someone turned 8!

And he enjoyed a super sized banana split!
So did his brothers and sisters!  (Notice the fashionable cape? Pillowcase with clip.)
There was lots and lots of Narnia dress up and play that went on throughout the day.  I think this certain 8 year old enjoyed his birthday and presents a lot.  He is such an amazing little man.  I am so proud of him!

Fire!

There is nothing better then a cozy fire in the fireplace.  The smells, the sounds, the visual!  There is the added bonus of heat of course.  LOL!  I am very blessed to have so many people in our home that know how to prepare a wonderful fire.  So even when Tim is gone I have a few kiddos that can make fireplace magic!
